Last week, Realme unveiled its latest budget smartphone, the Realme C25s! We were lucky enough to get our hands on it and take it for a spin! Let’s check out this new smartphone to see how it stacks up to the competition in this very cutthroat market!
Realme C25s Camera
For a mid-range smartphone, The Realme C25s has a very good camera. It comes with a 16 MP + 2 MP setup on both sides. The main sensor is supported by phase detection autofocus and an f/1.8 aperture lens which performs well in low light as well. Images are sharp and detailed although there’s quite some noise visible in images shot at night or indoors with artificial lighting.
Realme C25s Screen
The Realme c25 has a large 6.39 display, with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels for high-quality pictures and text. You can play games on it and watch videos without worrying about grainy images, with an aspect ratio of 19:9 to make sure that you get a full cinematic experience from any movie or TV show you watch. This resolution is not just higher than that of most other smartphones; it’s also extremely bright and will be visible even in bright sunlight.
Realme C25s Performance
In terms of specs, we’re looking at a 5.9-inch Full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 403 PPI. There’s a 13MP f/2.0 aperture camera on both sides, which means you can take nice portrait shots or selfies easily. Plus, I’ve been using it for about half a month now (you can read my full review) and can say it handles day-to-day use well enough; good performance coupled with respectable battery life.
Realme C25s Battery Life & Charging Time
The 3,500mAh battery is one of the big selling points of the smartphone. I was able to get around 7 hours of screen on time during my usage and charging took about 2 hours from 0 to 100%. So, let’s check out how fast it charges. The company claims that it takes 15 minutes for a 0-100% charge which is true with what I found on my usage.
Realme C25s Design & Build Quality
The Realme C25s has a pretty stylish design overall. It looks like an iPhone X on steroids with a 6.2-inch LCD display and flat sides that are reminiscent of Nokia’s old phones, except with curved edges. The device is made out of plastic and has a metal frame that makes it feel extremely premium to hold in your hand.
